What we use
Cookies are small files your browser keeps for a website. We also use your browser's local storage for some settings. We use only what is listed below.
Essential
• Login session cookie: keeps you logged in and protects forms from misuse. It ends when you close the browser or log out.
• Language and app settings (local storage): remember Hindi or English and whether the app is installed.
Features
• Referral (bi_ref, 30 days): remembers the friend who invited you, so both of you get referral points.
• Trending questions (bi_nq, 1 year): a random ID that remembers which questions you answered and lets us add your points if you register later.
• Visit counter (bi_sid, local storage): a random ID used to count how many people are on the site right now.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga) to understand, in aggregate, which pages are used and how the site performs. We also estimate a visitor's approximate location (country, state, city) from the IP address for visitor statistics and security.
Your control
